NEW Ultimate TH8 HYBRID/TROPHY Base 2019!! COC Town Hall 8 (TH8) Trophy Base Design – Clash of Clans

If you’re looking for the New Best Town Hall 8 Hybrid/Trophy TH8 Base Design Layout 2019 in Clash of Clans, then you have come to the right place. This base is one of the best and most popular bases for coc Town Hall 8. This Town Hall 8 coc base layout can be used for Farming loot/resources as well as for Trophy pushing. To know more about this TH8 best coc base, continue reading this post.

BASE DESCRIPTION

This base has a lot of compartments which slows down opponents Giants and other troops as once they broke through a wall there’s another wall right after that, this will annoy the attack as the wall breaker artificial intelligence will never make Wall Breaker go straight into joints and they’ll always go for other compartments on the outside of the base which will ruin the raid for the attacker as his/her troops won’t be able to reach the core of the base. Even if opponent’s troops gets to the core of the base, those deadly teslas in the center will destroy them.

General Layout Of The Base

The first thing you’ll notice is the big dead zone in the middle and the kind of semi-exposed Town Hall in the left section. You normally don’t see this Anti-3-Star shape of bases at Town Hall 8 simply because it’s hard to really build an Anti-3-Star that will also use time running out on opponents at TH8.
This base, however, works really well with that and the middle section is like a shield that will force attacking troops to clear one side of the base completely before actually entering the second half – and typically the attacker will go after the side of the Town Hall first to make sure to really get at least the 2-Star.
The other side still has a lot of high-hitpoint buildings and the Clan Castle that will deal with a weakened army – the attacker will lose plenty of troops when attacking from the left side so this will become extra hard for him.

Dragons will always come in from the left side or they risk not getting the Town Hall and it’s impossible to get a 3-Star with mass Dragons against this base unless the attacker is at least maxed TH9 or higher.
The Dragons will clear out but then get slowed down by the AirSweeper and have most of the base left. The Air Sweeper at this position is powerful because the attacker can’t use a Rage Spell unless he wants to waste it for just speeding up some dragons 😀
But what happens if the attacker uses ground troops and come in from the back? Well, a bad surprise primarily 😉
Coming in from the back is only possible to enter the middle compartment but that will lead to the point where outside buildings will funnel the troops to the side and also break them into two groups – and we all know, two groups of troops are going down faster than one big group because the attacker needs more spells to boost them and the defenses can pick double the targets.

Why I Think It Is The Best

It’s doing pretty well against most attacking strategies unless the attacker is significantly higher than you, like TH9 or TH10. This base can deal with Balloons, Dragons, Valkyries and also a lot of custom army compositions you see out there.
When we talk about protecting loot with this base… your highest priority is defending your Dark Elixir at Town Hall 8, no question about that. However, you might also be concerned that the storages are pretty much on the outside and can be taken easily, right? Well, in most cases the attacker won’t do storage sniping and for regular attacks, they always have to pick one side and won’t get the other side’s storages so you will still protect half of your loot 🙂

General Layout Of The Base

This base is in a flower base design concept, this means you have the core and multiple small compartments around it that make it look like a flower.
The main reason is to prevent an attacker to crack open your base and go through it – especially with tank troops like Giants you want to slow them down as much as possible by having to smash through walls over and over again.
The outside perimeter is also pretty tight to the base and will distract troops additionally – the attacker needs to clear a lot of them to get a secure funnel to the inside – and at Town Hall 8, let’s be honest, most attackers don’t really od that and rather go full forces into the base and hope for the best 🙂

The Balloons will also split up and travel around the core.
Also interesting to see are ground attacks, often combinations of Golen/Giants with supportive troops like PEKKA, Wizards, Valkyries or whatever rainbow the attacker might have come up with.
Often they struggle in the beginning and see half of their army going around the base clearing the outside perimeter or they will get stuck on wall layer after wall layer until your defenses have taken them out.
